Following from last week’s blog post look at the Watercress Line’s class 50 50027 Lion, today we look at another heritage diesel at Ropley – class 37 /9 D6836.
The English Electric Type 3 class are better known to many enthusiasts as “Tractors” due to their distinctive sound.

Never been a great fan of the English diesels in the blue livery, but this 37/9 looks quite smart in green.
