Last year we ran a photo competition here at Locoyard and today we look back at the fantastic entries sent in. We start with two images from Owen Hayward of Three Plank Media. Owen took both the picture above and below at the Epping Ongar Railway.
These brilliant pictures really speak volumes of the quality of Owen’s work and I urge you all to both follow Owen on Twitter and/or Facebook.
The second two excellent pictures (above and below) were taken by Makkenzy (of Lightning the J72 fame) at the Gloucestershire and Warkwickshire Railway.
Makkenzy has a great You Tube channel (click here) and his own website; where you can find stories, drawings, photographs and videos of Lightning the J72.
The next two pictures (above and below) are sure to make you shiver! They were taken by Nick Littlewood, who is very inspirational in directing some of my attention away from trains to the stations, posters, art, publications that surround them.
Nick can be found on twitter and frequently publishes fascinating material, including his own photographs, so is well worth following!
The pictures above and below came from Dave, from the Waverley Route Heritage Association. If Nick’s picture’s did not make you shiver, these will! Brilliant stuff! Dave has a brilliant blog (maxstafford60093.wordpress.com) that I highly recommend following.
Last but my no means least we have a fantastic picture of 34067 Tangmere (below) from Tom. Tom is an enthusiast who has been very supportive of Locoyard.com and I very much recommend that you follow him on Twitter and subscribe to his channel on YouTube.
