The Bachmann Fairburn 4MT Tank engine is a favourite performer here at locoyard. It predates this blog, so a DCC fitting guide was never published before, however as the locomotive had a small decoder fitted but had space for a bigger one, I took the opportunity to replace it and publish this guide!
Tonight’s star is BR Standard class 76079, a locomotive that is in the locoyard fleet of 00 scale models (click here to read a special feature on the model). Ropley is without doubt one of the best places to see heritage steam and diesel locomotives. I have never visited the site without there being plenty to see, which is one reason I go there whenever possible!
