Whilst on a lovely (though very muddy!) walk with Mrs Locoyard on 9th March, we briefly passed through Exbury, where I captured “Mariloo” awaiting to pull one of the first trains of Exbury Gardens Steam Railway in 2013.

Exbury Gardens 12 ¼” gauge steam railway is a lovely line that runs through the beautiful Exbury Gardens and is well worth a visit if you are in the area.

We did not have time to visit the Gardens! as we had more muddy footpaths to traverse!  However, a blog post was published last year on a couple of previous visits, so if you wish to read more click here!
