It’s just a very quick blog post tonight to mention what looks to be an incredible event that will take place in the next few days.  This weekend the Severn Valley Railway will be marking their 50th anniversary with three days of steam action.  Confirmed visitors (as this article went to press) are 8F Austerity (“Dub Dee”) 90733 and LNWR coal tank 1054 both from the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway, 57xx London transport L.92 from the South Devon Railway and 42xx 4270 from the Gloucester and Warwickshire Railway.  They will be joined by members of the lines impressive home fleet for what looks to be a fantastic long weekend.  If only I could go!Full details of the event can be found on the railway’s website (click here.)
