As reported earlier in the week, tomorrow is the first day of the Severn Valley Railway’s 50 anniversary steam gala.  To mark the occasion, here are a few photographs that were taken in the 1990’s by the late Basil Roberts.  I have been fortunate to have recently purchased these pictures and hope Basil Roberts would have approved of the images being used to promote this wonderful preserved railway.
