Just a quick post to begin the tour of the layout I promised in my first post. This is the castle ruins, built to disguise the controller (a Hornby Select). It was built from foam packaging, with the rock face created by pva glue watered down on tissue paper. It was painted brown, with a grey rock face. Grass scatter was added (also stuck with watered down pva). The fence came from an old broken Hornby turntable and I cheated with the Castle Walls, as they are from a Hornby “ready to plant” resin model. Last but by no means least, farm animals were added. I’d love to hear if anyone else has built a controller disguise for their layout!

I like the ingenuity involved in the controller disguise!
Thanks Tom 🙂
