There was more to follow Hornby’s shock release of details of their 2016 range on Thursday! There are also two new LNER steam locomotives on their way from the Margate based firm. The first will be a super-detail 4-6-0 Holden B12 Class. This promises to be far better than the old model that so many people will have in their collection.
The second LNER model will be an 0-8-0 Raven Q6 Class. This charismatic locomotive will no doubt prove to be a popular in 00 scale.

The final eastern region treat is something that is a particularly interesting! Dapol has shocked many with their plans to produce an LNER A4 model in 00 scale. This will be a high specification model and retail at £400. This might sound like a high price to pay, but the model looks like it will be fantastic! It’ll have DCC Sound with synchro-smoke and working lights.
The model railway industry seems to be seeing no signs of slowing down. These are exciting times!
