The National Railway Museum is a fantastic collection of railway objects, all of high historical importance. In the Station Hall, some of the more opulent exhibits can be found.
As with it’s fellow Paignton and Dartmouth Railway based cousin 5239 Goliath that featured on Saturday (click here to read more), 7827 Lydham Manor has for many years been one of the stalwarts of the line’s fleet. It also shares a similar history in it’s preservation; being an ex-Barry scrapyard locomotive.
Yesterday at a Bachmann Collectors Club event at the Bluebell Railway, Bachmann announced their intention to produce a model of an ex-LBSCR Brighton Atlantic steam locomotive.
