Upon returning from a day trip last Sunday, Mrs Locoyard and I caught the steam and glow from a firebox of a steam engine heading home in the dark whilst we drove on the A31.  I couldn’t resist stopping at Ropley again to see what was making steam!  U class 31806 was hauling an empty rake of BR mark 1 carriages back to Ropley.  This truely was the last steam train of November 2012 on the Watercress Line.  I took a couple of long-exposure shots, before heading home.  I hope you like them!  🙂
