Following up from the blog post looking at 34051 Sir Winston Churchill in Ropley, today we take a slightly different perspective – a moving perspective on the Watercress Line! 

The video begins with 850 Lord Nelson departing Ropley, heading for Alresford.  We then take a brief look at Ropley loco yard, where 925 Cheltenham and 34051 Sir Winston Churchill can be seen.

Meanwhile, Lord Nelson returns from Alresford and is seen departing from the new (ex-Kings Cross) footbridge.  Black 5 45379 then arrives from Medsted and Four Marks and we have a good look at this locomotive before it departs for Alresford.

Moving location to Medstead and Four Marks we see 850 Lord Nelson with a service from Alton leave and then watch it depart for Ropley.  Finally, black 5 45379 is captured from the footbridge, climbing the summit from Ropley.
