Rounding off the series of blog posts looking at the Kent and East Sussex Railway is a look in the loco yard at Rolvenden. Of particular note was the line’s only tender engine – 376 Norwegian, which has recently returned to service.
Also of note were terrier tank 32678 (78 Knowle), the line’s second resident terrier, the other being 32670 (3 Bodiam) and 14 Charwelton, a Manning Wardle 0-6-0 tank engine.
Due to other pressing engagements I did not stay for long, but suffice to say, a visit to Rolvenden loco yard is always worth it!
Thanks for reading folks 🙂
