Yesterday Morning’s Advent Calendar blog post showed LMS Class 5MT 4-6-0 no’s 44871 and 45407 (The Lancashire Fusilier) with the Cathedral’s Express.  These are the remaining pictures!  They were taken yesterday in Eastleigh.  The train is on the Eastleigh to Romsey line heading for Bath.

Both locomotives are owned by Ian Riley and can be seen double-heading mainline tours throughout December (click here for more information.)

The train’s return journey was hauled by class 57 57313, that can be seen in tow in the picture above.  That’s all for now folks, see you in the morning for the next advent calendar blog post!
