NOTE – POLL NOW CLOSED!  Since 2008, new-build Peppercorn A1 Pacific Tornado has delighted steam enthusiasts across the country.  The recreation of this locomotive class was not considered possible to many, but in the past four year’s the locomotive has become one of the biggest stars of steam.

The locomotive has appeared in many guises, including works grey and also with different British Railway markings – with lettering’s, early and late crests.  The main guises can be split into three – Apple Green, Brunswick Green and BR Blue, but we’ve also added ex-works grey by popular demand!  We asked Locoyard followers – which of these colours has been your favourite?

Was it the LNER style Apple Green?

Was it the tradition British Railways deep Brunswick Green?

Or is was it the smart dark BR Blue?
