Tonight we go back in time to 2011 and have a good look at the North York Moors Railway’s fantastic Loco yard. Grosmont is certainly one of my favourite places in the country when it comes to steam locomotive depots.
Ex-LMS Black 5; 45212 Roy Corky Green was being prepared for action, whilst we see a few glimpses of other locomotives in the impressive fleet.
These pictures are from my archive and a back-dated entry for the Steam Diary. Although there is still a fair amount of material to publish, the older photographs will eventually run-out… which is one of many reasons why you are invited to contribute to locoyard.com to keep the good train-material flowing! If you wish to, contribute, please contact locoyard!
