34007 Wadebridge is currently the Watercress Line’s only operational Bulleid Pacific. It is pictured at Ropley on Fathers Day in wet conditions.

If you look at the picture above carefully, you may notice that Wadebridge’s tender is a slightly different shade of green to the locomotive. This is due to the tender actually belonging to fellow resident locomotive 35005 Canadian Pacific (see picture below).
35005 Canadian Pacific is currently stored at Eastleigh and requires a full overhaul – something that will cost at least £100,000 for the boiler alone. An appeal is currently open to support this restoration fund that I would like to share for your consideration to help this fine locomotive work once again. Please click here for more details.
