Following from the excellent 1937 Coronation brochure (click here for more), Nick Littlewood has sent some more contemporary scanned images to help us look a little deeper into the 75th Anniversary of LNER A4 class 4468 Mallard breaking and setting the world speed record for steam. This time we look at Railway Magazine’s August 1937 article on the Coronation.
