The North Yorkshire Moors Railway’s Autumn Steam Gala for 2014 would have a Western theme, and brought in three Great Western Railway locomotives to run alongside it’s resident locomotives. Between the 26th and 28th September, 5029 ‘Nunney Castle’ and 28xx class 2807 made several trips from Grosmont to Pickering, with 15xx class 1501 being a station pilot at Grosmont.
In this video by UKHH’s editor, Rowan Jackson, we see 5029 and 2807 along with a number of the railway’s resident locomotives at various locations along the 18 mile journey.
