Last May, Simon reported on the Kent and East Sussex Railway Saturday Gang and I thought it time for an update.  The gang have their own blog (saturdaygang.blogspot.co.uk) that is well worth watching.  The group work in the locomotive workshops, overhauling and repairing the light railway’s fleet of locomotives. The gang provides video updates of their work, the latest can be viewed below:

The gangs current major project is the overhaul of Hunslet Austerity 25 Northiam.  They have also reported on the departure of another Austerity favourite; 24 Rolvenden (pictured above in 2014 after withdrawal for overhaul) which has found a new home at the Colne Valley Railway.
