14xx 1450 will be returning to the South Devon Railway for the line’s 2016 Winter steam Festival, marking the early days of preservation in 1966 when the 0-4-2T arrived on the former Dart Valley Railway. The festival will take place over 13-22 February 2016 and is likely yo feature auto trains for 1450 and another visitor (64xx 6412) to haul.
Other locomotives to feature during the half term week are the Bodmin and Wenford Railway’s 8750 Pannier tank 4612, London Transport liveried 57xx Pannier L.92, the outside cylinder pannier tank 1369 (painted in BR black for what will be it’s last season of running before overhaul) and 2251 Collett Goods 0-6-0 no. 3205.
