In the midst of a busy time, a visit to the Swanage Railway provided a lovely respite! The railway runs from Norden via Corfe Castle, Harmans Cross (below) to the lovely beach and seaside town of Swanage. My wife and I had a lovely day out and I highly recommend a visit to the line. Please be sure to check out the railway’s website www.swanagerailway.co.uk for details of opening times and events.

If you are ever there on weekends, they do a dinner train. It’s a lot of fun and the food is decent. And in the evening you find a lot more animals to see along the way. 🙂
